Builder-Buyer Agreement

BUILDER-BUYER AGREEMENT This Agreement is executed on [effective_date] between [builder_name] (hereinafter "the Promoter") and [buyer_name] (hereinafter "the Allottee"), in respect of the project [project_name] bearing RERA registration number [rera_registration_number]. 1. UNIT The Promoter agrees to sell, and the Allottee agrees to purchase, [unit_details]. 2. SALE CONSIDERATION The total sale consideration payable by the Allottee is Rs. [sale_price], payable as per the construction-linked payment plan agreed between the parties. 3. POSSESSION The Promoter shall hand over possession of the unit on or before [possession_date], subject to force majeure. 4. RERA COMPLIANCE This Agreement is governed by the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 and the rules made thereunder, and the Allottee's rights under the said Act shall not be diminished by anything contrary contained herein. 5. DELAY COMPENSATION In the event of delay in handing over possession beyond the date above, the Promoter shall be liable to pay interest/compensation to the Allottee as prescribed under the applicable RERA rules.
