Senior Citizen Maintenance Application

The proceeding is designed to be conducted by the parties themselves, and a Maintenance Officer may assist the senior citizen. - The Tribunal is expected to dispose of the application within ninety days, extendable once by thirty days for recorded reasons. - An appeal against the Tribunal's order lies to the Appellate Tribunal within sixty days. - This remedy is in addition to, and not in substitution for, any right to claim maintenance under other law.
