Adoption Deed

ADOPTION DEED This Deed is executed on [adoption_date] between [biological_parent_name] (hereinafter "the Giver") and [adoptive_parent_name] (hereinafter "the Adoptive Parent"). WHEREAS the Giver has, out of free will and without any consideration, given [child_name], aged [child_age] years, in adoption to the Adoptive Parent, and the Adoptive Parent has taken the child in adoption. 1. DECLARATION The adoption has been performed in accordance with the applicable ceremonies and requirements of law, and the Giver hereby relinquishes all parental rights and obligations in respect of the child in favour of the Adoptive Parent. 2. EFFECT OF ADOPTION From the date of this Deed, [child_name] shall, for all purposes, be treated as the child of the Adoptive Parent, with all attendant rights of inheritance and succession as a natural-born child, and shall cease to have any such rights in the family of birth, except as otherwise provided by law. 3. CONSENT This adoption has been made with the free consent of the Giver and the Adoptive Parent, without force, fraud, or undue influence.
